The Stray Static Soldier
Defective worker of the SIRT, Laryn is someone who appeared in Nullos one day without any warning, since then, they've tried to
have a new life in the city in an attempt to leave their SIRT life behind.
Laryn is usually described as a calm and collected individual, the type of person that always plans three times before commiting
to doing something, some even may call them boring because of that. Those who are close to them though, see Laryn as someone dependable,
and as someone that is just trying their best after screwing up before.
Nowadays, you can find Laryn over at the Ophiucus, where he works the tables while their husband, Sazerac, handles the bar.

What is Static?
Static is known as the force that fuels Nullos and their inhabitants, being described by the SIRT as "the only real randomness".
What "randomness" means in this scenario is that the Static is a force capable of everything AND anything, but it is impossible to know what will it do, or why.
Laryn, being a subject that worked closely studying Static and its effects, developed some physical changes to their body, as an example of what Static can do.
Another efect that the Static had on Laryn is the supernatural ability of creating pocket spaces and manipulating a limited flow of Static, though as they've come to fear this power and the fact
that they cannot really control it, Laryn always wears some Static suppression gloves with them, a product they've developed while his serving on the SIRT.
What is the SIRT?
The Static Integrity Research Team, or SIRT for short, is a team of underground military researchers with a single objetive in mind, that is,
to control and contain the flow of what is the Static capable of producing. The existence of this team is unknown to most inhabitants of Nullos, as
the mere fact of knowing that the Static exists is already something the higher ups over at the Archive have under rags.
Laryn is one of the old members of this team, having
deserted their workplace due to some personal drama between them and the team.
